Your identity in Christ does not revolve around what you did in this world, what you studied at the university, what you own homes, or what you have in the bank. Today's truth confirms to us about our identity in Christ, not from our deeds but by the redemptive work of Christ. Last week, I watched a Christian movie called “The Overcomer”, which is a story about a girl who lives with her grandmother, because she lost her parents from childhood. During the film, her teacher encourages her to read Ephesians 1 and 2 and write what her identity is. Wow, how wonderful is this identity that she found and announced. This identity for all of us who accepted Christ.
In Christ I am a Child of God, I am blessed, I am chosen, I am adopted, I am redeemed, I am forgiven of my sins, I am sealed, I am loved and I am saved. Read the letter of Ephesians. You will find all these facts. Do not Just read but write the truths to have confidence in the truth of these words and believe in them to obtain them.
